Crime Watch Alert

Hi Everyone,

One of the residents made us aware of a recent problem that we wanted to share with everyone. It appears that people have been running through the woods between subdivions in the evenings once it gets dark outside. While our response coordinator officers have not reported any new crimes in our area we do want to remind everyone to take precautions and make smart decisions if you will be out of town for a few days. Be sure to check the locks not only on all your doors, but windows and interior doors from garages as well. It's also a good idea to have an outdoor light on or inform one of your neighbors that you will be away so they can keep an eye on your house and collect your mail for you. You can also stop mail delivery while you are away on the US Postal Service's Website.

Please look out for one another and if you notice something suspicious please contact our response coordinators and let the HOA Board know about the situation so we can make everyone aware.

Thanks!
Your HOA Board

Community Yard Sale - Sat. 5/1

We will be having a community wide yard sale this Saturday, May 1 from 8 am until Noon. You may have also noticed the great sign at the main entrance off Eastfield that the HOA had put up earlier this week. This should have made the broader area around the neighborhood aware of the sale and will attract drive by traffic on Saturday morning. A big thank you to Laura and Cristen for taking care of the signage!

Get some spring cleaning done and make a little extra cash!

Slow Down!!

Friends and Neighbors,
While this is not a new issue, we feel the need to mention the excessive speed some drivers continue to use while within the residential streets of Eastfield, primarily on Foggy Meadow as it is the main entrance. Not only has personally property been damaged numerous times I have personally witnessed family pets run over and killed due to negligent driving and excessive speed. As the weather warms up residents and their families, including small children will begin to spend more time outside and before a true tragedy occurs we ask everyone to take a little more care and concern when they are driving in the neighborhood. Thankfully, we have received approval from the City to move forward with the placement of street humps but until those are in place, and even after, a concious effort needs to be made to stick with the 25 MPR appropriate for a neighborhood.
Warmest Regards,
Your HOA Board
